Here is a little about IA Coatings Mission. We are not just a performance and protective coatings company but a team full of incredible individuals whose sole purpose is to create and apply the best coating possible. We were founded in 2015 in Houston, Texas but don’t let that fool you, our team has collected over 100 years of combined experience in the coating industry.

Our Team
Business and Entrepreneur veteran, Tracey Sr. served in the U.S. Army and has a leadership resume that includes; Super Lube, Lubrication Station, Jiffy Lube, Terrible Herbst Oil Company, and Extreme Polymers to name a few. With Tracey’s business acumen and background, he acts as IA Coatings captain, guiding the company forward.
As a scholar, Tracey Jr. graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Quadruple Baccalaureate in Business Administration. A National Scholars Honor Society, Scholarship recipient, published author, and businessman, Tracey Jr. has a vast knowledgebase. Also worked with the U.S. Consulate, Milan, Italy.

IA Coatings did a great job stripping the chrome off my 1943 M1911A1 and then applying an original style parkerized finish. The price was affordable and I had the gun back in less than a week. I inquired at several gunsmiths across the country and nobody was able to remove chrome. These guys are a professional industrial coating shop who are also able to do high quality work for individual customers.

Was impressed from the time I brought in my firearms parts to the time I picked them up. Customer service was great from explaining the coatings offered and answering any questions I had. The turn around time couldn’t have been any faster and will be using IA Coatings on future projects.
